XJS headlining board repair

Time to repair the original headlining board, but when I started to remove the old fabric the board began to delaminate. I had already glued fabric to the back side of the board to stabilise it so I could remove the fabric. So it was time to get the fiberglass out again.

I covered the old board with aluminum foil so the new fiberglass one would not stick.

New one laid up. I did it this way as I was only making one I did not go to the trouble of making a mold. I did have to sand and fill the cloth side but I figured I would have had to do this with the old one anyway.

New headliner board ready for some fabric.

I didn't take pics of the headliner before it was installed but not a bad job for my first attempt. I will need to make a trim strip to cover the gap in the C pillar.
